What to expect when booking a Photography/Videography session
First, we will request that our client prepares a thorough document that acts as a treatment that details the specifics behind the scope of what they require for their project. Based on these requirements, a competitive rate will be decided upon with consideration of time spent on the project, labor, and intricacy/resources needed. Subsequently, if I have follow-up questions or there’s anything unclear, a phone call will be scheduled. Once locked in, I will send an invoice which summarizes every detail of the job. On the day of the shoot or before, I will arrive at the location early to scope things out and case the environment. If studio time is needed (say for portraits/headshots), I will include that in the rate breakdown. Clients can expect test shots to be done beforehand so I can calibrate my equipment day-of. These steps apply to both photo and video gigs.
What to expect when booking Writing Services
Upon client interest in hiring us, we will ask for them to specify the type of writing services they’ll need e.g. proofreading/copyediting/resume revamping, liner notes (for musicians etc.) Once this is determined, a summary will be requested by our team from the client that specifies the scope of what they’ll need (as detailed as possible). Once those two are decided, a rate will be generated. If more detail or clarification is required, a phone call will be scheduled. Once locked in, an invoice will be e-mailed as a summary and tangible document officiating the job. There can be back-and-forth with this (via e-mail or in real-time to see changes in Google Docs) since there could be multiple drafts and input from the client as the writing project comes together and gets finalized.
